Is booking free?
Yes, booking on DoctoAfrica is free for patients. You pay the practitioner for the consultation, at the fee shown on their profile.
How do I cancel or move an appointment?
From your patient area, up to 24 hours before. After that, contact the facility directly.
Who can see my medical record?
Only the caregivers following you (appointment, hospital stay, referral) and those you give a share code to. Every access to your record is logged.
Are practitioners verified?
Yes. Each practitioner is checked by our team (medical council registration, licence to practise) before appearing in the directory.
I don’t have a smartphone, can I still be followed?
Yes. The facility’s reception can register you and book your appointments; your patient ID follows you everywhere.
